Did you know that there are only 39 days left until the 2011 Insight into GMO Symposium here at O.U.R. Ecovillage. Yup, that’s right. 39 days until:

1. We announce, officially, the first GE Free Zone on Vancouver Island: O.U.R. Ecovillage
2. I get to meet my super hero, Dr. Don M. Huber
3. Cindy gets to meet her super hero, Jon Steinman
4. We get to connect with a bunch of rad folks from the Cowichan Valley (and all over) who also love these people
5. We get to engage in a down and dirty conversation about food, values, ethics and our need to keep each other healthy and safe.

I am really over the moon excited. Especially after the wicked convo that ensued after Sharon Proske’s talk on GMOs for the PDC last night. Holy monkey. I know one thing for sure. PEOPLE REALLY DO CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER!
