Have you heard the exciting news?!

Local, “eco” company Gentle Earth Products Ltd. has officially made its move to O.U.R. Eco Village, in Shawnigan Lake, where it is manufacturing and distributing over 100 all-natural cleaning and skin care products, made right here, by local artisans, in beautiful British Columbia; O.U.R. is a proud endorser of these “bright green” products. Over the past few years, this relationship has been developed as OUR has had to source more green products to deal with a larger influx of visitors putting pressure on the grey water system. Scott Kelly, founder of Gentle Earth Products, has been visiting and volunteering for a couple years. He supplies the Village with its soap products and is now living on site, having applied to become OUR’s newest land owner at the Village.

Originating in Victoria, this business has successfully spread its vision of sustainable living across Canada by offering a full range of biodegradable, reusable and cruelty-free options for home cleaning and bodycare. In the Cowichan Valley, you can find this exceptional, economical and ethical line at The Community Farm Store and Mister Sweeper Vacuums, as well as online or directly at 1565 Baldy Mountain Road.

How you can help support the Village & Gentle Earth:

Gentle Earth has launched a partnership website aimed at directly supporting revenues to the non profit school by contributing 15% of the sales from this website. Go to http://ourecovillage.gentleearth.ca/ to support this fundraising effort. Here is a coupon code to use on your 1st

This synergy builds a new business model with the planet and our local community as its focus. As a follower of OUR, we hope you support this initiative by purchasing your household cleaning & bodycare products from this website which contributes towards the sustainability of OUR Eco Village and its mandate to educate and inspire living in harmony with nature.
