The critical nature of events relating to the communities of two watersheds has become a national awareness campaign in SHAWNIGAN LAKE and South Vancouver Island. And now an INTERNATIONAL VOICE has come to speak; we are proud to welcome TA’KAIYA BLANEY and Kaliah Rampanen to these
Sacred Lands and Sacred Waters!

Join the people, of all Nations/all walks of life, as we honour the lands that we know to held by Ancestors and those who walked this way before so many of us came as visitors.

Join those whose Traditional Territory these lands and water have held in the story of how to live ‘in a good way – in heart and mind’. Our Elders and community folks will lead us in a day which moves through community settings which help us explore, celebrate and honour the Sacredness of these lands and of these waters.

All people young and old need to hear her possibilities and know that they have more to reach for than they imagine now. Each of us have the opportunity to listen to a clarity which we need to know in these challenging times and hold our heads/hearts strong in authentic and integral understanding of how to walk forward within our commUNITY

We are fortunate beyond our knowing to host Ta’kaiya, and all our youth of this bio-region, Elders, and CommUNITY representatives, to speak with us and ask for their words to echo into the days of tomorrow.
