Programme Description
Who can take this course?
- Everyone is welcome. No previous experience required. Just come, learn and have fun!
- By taking this course you also have the opportunity to earn generous Continuing Education credits to maintain your industry certifications (ISA, CNLA, BCSLA, SOUL, BC Provincial Pesticide Applicator)
- We welcome volunteers who wish to work on practicum hours in relation to any of the diploma, or other Gaia College courses.
- Residential options also exist for students who are interested in a full-featured community life experience.
To fully participatte in the course, students must have:
- Internet access and an e-mail account
- Basic gardening tools, including bypass pruners
What will I learn?
Come and gather with like-minded environmentally conscious students and
- Learn to create fabulous food and ornamental gardens without pesticides and other harmful chemicals
- Become a SOUL Organic Master Gardener and share your knowledge with others through mentor-ship programs, workshops, talks and many other creative ways.
- Gain essential organic gardening skills to start or enhance your own business in the rapidly growing organic land care industry

How do I register
The course fee is 695.00 (no GST) which includes
- All texts, handouts and supplies
- One year access to the Gaia College on-line resources, including online library, plant data base, and much more.
- One year membership to the Society for Organic Urban Land Care
There is no set deadline, However, this course fills up quickly – be sure to register as early as possible.
