About the retreat leaders

Linda O’Connor

As a speaker and facilitator, Linda of Handstoheart draws upon her training and experience to support and promote self-awareness for adults and children. She believes that the development of mindfulness and conscious breathing play key roles in cultivating balance in our lives.

“Our bodies know what we need. Awareness is the key”.

Cheryl Bakke Martin

A multidisciplinary artist, Cheryl has a lifetime of experience in various media that range from blacksmithing and other metalwork, to torch-worked glass, to painting, collage and sacred mandala drawings, all of which she loves to share with others – see her website for more. With 17 years experience as a speaker and workshop facilitator, she has a distinct knack for creating a relaxed, engaging and supportive learning environment that allows participants to get lost in their own reflections and learning, and you can bet the time spent will be creative, thought-provoking and fun.
