A magical 6 days of community building through music and dance. Nhemamusasa is one of the oldest songs in the mbira repertoire of Zimbabwe and it means “temporary shelter”. As we gather we will build our temporary shelter, or home, together ….finding a sense of place in the connections found in the spirit of the music and the land.

Nhemamusasa North offers daily workshops in marimba, mbira, hosho, dance, drumming and singing at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.

Who will I be learning from?
