“O.U.R. Sustainers” – core supporter program

In 1999, the “ Sustainable Living Demonstration Site and Permaculture Education Center” at O.U.R. Ecovillage was born – by the community, for the community, through the community.

In the fall of 2011, the Protect O.U.R. Ecovillage Campaign was launched as an opportunity to move towards O.U.R. ongoing dream of working through all regulatory barriers and being able to transition to a jointly owned, sustainable community resource.

Now that ethical investors have stepped in to secure the land through the syndicated mortgage, we are launching a monthly donor drive to provide sustainable, long-term operations support.  This aspect of the Protect O.U.R. ECOVILLAGE Forever Campaign has been created in order to show ‘good faith’ to this incredible circle of investors who are pledging direct investment and self-directed RRSP investment in the Ethical Investment Mortgage.  The need is to secure $6,000 per month for the basic operating costs that will ensure O.U.R. Ecovillage continues educating and inspiring thousands of people each year….and shows these investors that there is 100’s of others who also are willing to step forward in demonstration of how valued this Canadian showcase of sustainability is ….

We invite you to join the “O.U.R. Sustainers” in a few easy steps by setting up a monthly tax-deductible donation.

O.U.R. Sustainers are people who believe that the existence of O.U.R. Ecovillage is vitally important and are willing to take action to Protect OUR ECOVILLAGE Forever.
