“Blog? Hey!”

“What? I was just getting the day started with a juicy blog post about Friday, since you didn’t get around to it with your oh-so-busy lifestyle?”

“I don’t know if that song title would be the most appropriate title for a tv spot…hey!  That’s actually kind of offensive!”

“I, um… it just came to me… say, is that Liuba at the door for morning check in? Let me get that for you, you just relax, actually, lets come back to this later….”

Shaw TV Spot at O.U.R. Ecovillage: JenYes, Friday was a busy day with the filming of our Shaw TV spot. And yes, despite my best intentions, I didn’t end up getting a blog post up before the afternoon was up!  So, here we are today! Let me introduce to you… Jen.

Jen is from Edmonton and came out to Duncan to be a one woman film crew for the community news aspect of Shaw TV Duncan.  Imagine, she is camera handler, interviewer, lights and editor all in one!   She arrived at O.U.R. Ecovillage with all of her equipment in one little bag at ten and followed Justin, Brandy and I down to the Healing Sanctuary to film. I can’t speak for the others, but I was pretty nervous about standing in front of a camera. Thankfully Jen asked great questions and we all felt really great about the experience.

She finished off by touring about, to the kitchen and to the garden then headed out around noon to have it all edited together for her 2pm.  Stay tuned for a link to the video!
